Carolina Wren
Carolina Wren is a novelist whose work blends meticulous research with a deep fascination for the forces that drive people to extraordinary—and often dangerous choices. Her debut novel, One Troy Ounce (2023), explored the greatest silver heist in American history and introduced readers to her signature mix of tension, character depth, and narrative precision.
The Taking of Isaac, her second novel, expanded her range into a more intimate exploration of loyalty, loss, and the fragile boundaries of conviction. Across genres, Carolina is drawn to stories where ordinary lives are upended by extraordinary events, revealing the complicated truths that lie beneath the surface.
Before turning to fiction, Carolina worked as a graduate gemologist and is an avid ballroom dancer. She lives in Southern California, with her husband, three children and Cavapoo, Henry.
